The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) is the largest anti-hunger, anti-poverty organization in New Jersey working to end hunger through food assistance, supportive solutions, and advocacy for transformative change. Albertsons Companies Foundation supports our programs that serve nutritious meals to thousands of children and families, ensuring continuous access to the food kids need to grow and succeed.
Getting to know Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Inc.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) serves as a champion for addressing root causes of hunger, delivering neighbor-centered solutions and fostering collaborative partnerships across all sectors of society for New Jersey. Together with volunteers, donors and our many partners, we work to fill the emptiness caused by hunger with Food, Help and Hope.
CFBNJ’s child nutrition programs work with schools and other community partners to reach food insecure children and families where they are, offering food assistance with fewer barriers to access. The Family Pack, Kids Cafe, and Summer Feeding programs aim to serve more than 1.8 million supplemental meals this year that meet the nutritional needs of more than 10,000 growing children.
