Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County provides millions of pounds of foods to thousands of people each month.
Albertsons’ funding for our expanded Kids Cafe program gives children after-school meals, summer lunches, and snacks to ensure they have nutritious food outside of school.
Getting to know Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County
In collaboration with our partners, we provide dignified, equitable and consisted access to nutritious food, creating a foundation for community health. We envision an Orange Count with food and nutritional security for all.
Non-reimbursable Kids Cafe will provide meals and snacks for children at locations that do not qualify as a federal CACFP or SFSP sites. This food will provide children with consistent access to nutritious food – a key component of our organization’s mission.
