To increase food access in Central Texas by providing nutritious food; leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts; and transforming lives through programs, education, and innovative solutions.
The Central Texas Food Bank’s (CTFB) Feeding Futures School Pantry Program (FFSP) transforms K-12 schools into community food access points by establishing on-campus food pantries stocked with fresh, nutritious food. During the 2025-26 school year, our FFSPs distributed 464,858 meals, or 557,830 pounds of food, to an average of 2,000 households monthly, ensuring that children and their families can access free, nutritious meals beyond school hours, including weekends, summer breaks, after-school periods, and holiday intervals.
