Empower Futurewave Foundation

We rescue surplus prepared food from restaurants, caterers, and grocers and deliver it same-day to homeless shelters across DuPage, Will, and Kane Counties, coordinated in real time by our proprietary Bridge 2 Meal app. Alongside deliveries, we train stipended youth leaders to run the operation and launch new youth-led rescue sites in neighboring communities.

Outcome: food security for shelter residents — a reliable, consistent supply of high-quality prepared meals so shelters in our three counties never have to ration or cancel a meal service. Output: 12,000 rescued meals delivered in year one, growing toward 25,000 meals annually across three youth-run sites by year three.
