Feeding San Diego

Feeding San Diego’s mission is to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue and our vision is a hunger-free and healthy San Diego.

Feeding San Diego’s School Pantry Program provides families with consistent access to fresh produce and nutritious shelf-stable foods through monthly or twice-monthly distributions at trusted school locations throughout San Diego County. During the 2026–27 school year, Feeding San Diego will coordinate with schools to implement distributions, expand the program to 80 School Pantry sites, provide approximately 3.4 million meals to children and families, monitor program sites, and collect participant feedback to evaluate food access, nutrition, and child well-being outcomes.Feeding San Diego’s School Pantry Program provides families with consistent access to fresh produce and nutritious shelf-stable foods through monthly or twice-monthly distributions at trusted school locations throughout San Diego County.
