This grant will enable Feeding Westchester to distribute a higher volume of food to our neighbors through our core programs. On average, we can provide up to 2 meals for each dollar donated, meaning a donation of $35,000 will provide up to 70,000 meals to nourish our community.
Getting to know Feeding Westchester, Inc.
Feeding Westchester's mission is to nourish our neighbors in the fight against hunger. We are the county’s largest nonprofit hunger relief organization operating at the heart of a network of 175 partners implementing 278 programs through more than 222,000 neighbor visits each month.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to apply for grant support through the Nourish the American Dream Grant Program. With the requested general operating funding, Feeding Westchester will be able to purchase and distribute nutritious food and essential hunger relief resources to children, families, and neighbors across Westchester.
